I am a medical Doctor retired=non-practicing. I have 17% eosinophils in CBP, and often since my childhood I have allergic asthma, I am severely allergic to fumes, perfumes, dust, mites, beef, cold, pollens, and many other things including chlorine, I go for swimming and chlorine causes asthma, I am taking Montelukast 10 mg every evening+ nebulisers in saline (Clenil =.8mg/2ml beclomethosone dipropionate ) and Atem (ipratropium bromide ).We have family history from my father my paternal grand mother also had asthma, now my brother, sisters and nieces also have severe allergy.

I've had BE since 2010. Never took notice of it because I worked a lot as a teacher.....but now as I am retired, it has gotten worse.....I don't understand the sputum tests they want...I can't give a lot of plegm first thing in the morning, so my sample is very minimal...even when I did it in the office with 7% sodium in nebulizer, It wasn't that productive....BUT i cough all day!!!!!!...I'm not happy with my doctor...its like she waits for me to contact her about everything I've read, and doesn't seem proactive!!!!!
